So many things had happened…

Yeah, many things happened when I didn’t update this blog. Firstly is that my sister is now official working at KL. Congratulations to her, but be careful too. City life nowadays aren’t that safe.

My brother and I got her a Cooler Master Color ∞ for her birthday gift since her laptop is going to be tortured by long hours of work listen to songs to her sleep.

 

What a big box!

Here's a tip for those who are getting laptop coolers : DO NOT get plastic-meshed laptop coolers. Seriously, the reason why is that the VGA region of the laptop will be so hot, that it will dry up the plastic and it’ll be extremely crispy like fried chicken, then easily snapped into half by just a finger’s press.

Then went to my mom’s friend’s shop for a meal. I am really loving the Sang Mee (direct translation is Living Noodles O_O) that my mom’s friend cooks.

Using the Mac OS X now. Got too boring while studying History.

So yeah… Mac OS X

Okay… I’m already on the Mac OS X for about a week now. Well Mac is really a stable and lag-free OS, but it misses out some apps due to biased programmers that only make apps for Windows. Still, I can enjoy the best of both worlds. No, not Miley Cyrus. Not dual booting either. It’s the VMware Fusion. I can run Windows OS directly from my Mac. Of course I miss the Windows Live Writer. It’s the best blogging app =D

 

VMware Fusion. I am REALLY loving this app.

It’s really cool that I can drag and drop to transfer files from the virtual Windows from Mac too. Well it does cause some lag during the transfer.

Yeaaaaaaah cool function from the VMware Fusion is the Unity. Only available for the Fusion version of VMware. Just take a look and be surprised =D

Well? Using a Mac that has Windows apps directly on it.

P/S : Adobe made Photoshop on a Mac at first, then ported it to Windows. So on a Mac, here’s how Photoshop CS4 looks like.

Yesh, I got FIFA 10 and it’s great! But then my exams are coming soon so no posts for 3 weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks. Exams are 3 freaking weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks and the last day got delayed due to some unknown reason -_-

I just love the album! And it was released during June I think, and already near platinum during August. Imagine how great is their wave!

I seriously recommend all to get this album at its best quality because it’s really special! Deluxe edition comes with a second disc, consisting bonus tracks of old songs’ remixes

McDonald’s Coca-Cola Glasses!

I just love those glasses. It looks large in the picture, but the real thing is quite small.

Last Friday, my mom, my sister and I went to Jusco and have a meal of McDonald’s =D We’re all crazy about the glasses so we went to get two of them. To get one glass, you’ll have to eat one McValue set large (any set) and a sundae. Sounds like a killer, but I’m ok with that =D

Wolfenstein!

Wolfenstein! Yes the game! No, not the old ones, this is the new one!

Though my brother said the game actually have pretty bad sales due to the story and the gameplay, well yeah. I agree. It’s World War 2, just like Call of Duty.

 

The introduction.

The story is pretty locked up and boring. It’s all about ancient artifacts and Nazis.

Another one just like Call of Duty!

First ancient thing.

Nazis dominated the town and wanting to dig up all the artifacts.

Also this game is very fictional. I stand by my point here with my dignity.

A shining beacon. Shoot down all the hoops by slowing the time and shoot the weak spot.

The Nazi fortress. It’s built underground!

Overall the game (my opinion) is quite okay, or maybe it’s bad. I just started playing it not long ago. My progress in the game is still just a little step.

Again, this game is Wolfenstein and I’m going to play it when I have the time and update this post =D

XBOX 360!

Yes, my brother got an Xbox 360. So it means more gaming on the 360 instead of my own computer lol, since games are releasing for the 360 first instead of PC, and also more choices of games for the 360, for example Assassin’s Creed II. November release is for the XBOX 360 and also the Sony PlayStation 3, but 2010 release for computers. What a bummer, right?

So here goes the unboxing of the XBOX 360, I did it since my brother went out =P I was a little sleepy and tired the other day so it’s quite blurry.

The box. It’s freaking heavy and also large.

And so the unboxing begins!

First of all, it’s the console itself of course!

Beneath the console is quite a havoc.

No wonder it’s so heavy!

Here’s a few pictures of all the things inside the box!

 

The controller for the 360. Wireless, and also very comfortable to be held. Positioning might be weird for the analogs, but it’s really comfortable.

The power supply. Huge isn’t it?

 

Sorry for the blur picture, it’s the main cable that splits to audio and video. There’s a flip switch for HDTV and TV.

 

The included microphone and also the headphone.

The LAN cable. Note that it’s actually metal at the contact points.

So I got everything connected, hooked up the cables and all, but the final step – get it running and I failed. All because of the loose HDMI cable I connected. Who discovered it? My brother lol, he was so red that night when he came back.

Lololololol.

So yeah, finally got the game running!

And the next day, I got a terrible fever for like half a day, because on the one-day trip to KL I sweated a lot, and I didn’t cool down much on that day. Guess I stressed my body.

My brother actually stole my HAF 932’s aluminium standoffs to prevent getting the red ring of death, because he wants to save space and also cool the 360. So he just stole the standoffs.

Not that I mind since I can play Fable II and other games =D
